How MarkEasy works

We deeply understand the importance of grading essays; it's our way of giving students the essential feedback they need for their academic progress. However, this necessary part of our role can often be quite time-intensive and demanding, presenting a unique set of challenges in our daily work. As former teachers ourselves, we've crafted MarkEasy from scratch, channeling our firsthand experiences and challenges with essay marking into creating our dream solution that addresses the very pain points we once faced in our classrooms.

Here is how MarkEasy works:

Step 1. Submit your student's essay for marking

Once your question bank and student list are ready (a setup process our team is more than happy to assist you with!), you'll begin by selecting a question and a student, then submit their essay. Submissions can be made effortlessly through a PDF upload, a Google Docs link, or even by uploading a screenshot of the student's writing.

Step 2. Wait for the feedback to be generated by MarkEasy

Once submissions have been graded, it will be moved to "To Review". Click on the blue "eye" icon to view the feedback

Step 3. View feedback report

Review the overall score, content and language feedback generated by our AI

Step 4. Make personalised edits

Make changes to the feedback wherever necessary

Step 5. Share the report with your student!
